Arthur William [Arthur] Foote (05/03/1853 – 08/04/1937), an American classical composer, and a member of the "Boston Six." The other five were George Whitefield Chadwick, Amy Beach, Edward MacDowell, John Knowles Paine, and Horatio Parker. Foote, born in Salem, Massachusetts, died in in Boston, Massachusetts.
