Ralf (Georg Nils) Gothóni (02/05/1946), a Finnish (from Rauma) composer, pianist, conductor, a chamber musician, a teacher and the author of a profound collection of essays entitled The Creative Moment. In 2000 Gothóni took up the position of principal conductor of the distinguished English Chamber Orchestra.
