Kjell Perder (03/09/1954), a Swedish composer, born in Tjärstad (Östergötland). He has, beside composing, taught music theory and history at the Stockholm Institute of Music Pedagogics, University of Uppsala, Örebro College of Music among others. From 1992 to 1996 he worked as an associate professor at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, but from 1996 he is mainly a freelance composer.
