Daniel Pinkham (05/06/1923 - 18/12/2006), an American composer, born in Lynn (Massachusetts). He is a prolific and versatile composer whose catalog includes four symphonies and other works for large ensembles; cantatas and oratorios, a requiem; concertos and other works for solo instrument and orchestra for piano, piccolo, trumpet, violin, and harp, as well as three organ concertos; theatre works and chamber operas; chamber music; electronic music; and twenty documentary film scores. In 1990 he was named Composer of the Year by the American Guild of Organists.
