Guido Pannain (17/11/1891 - 06/09/1977), an Italian musicologist, critic and composer, born and died in Naples. He studied composition with C. de Nardis at the Naples Cons, (graduated, 1914). He was professor of music history at the Naples Cons. (1915–61), and also wrote music criticism. As a musicologist, he devoted much of his time to the study of Neapolitan music.
