José de Vaquedano Urroz (20/03/1642 - 17/02/1711), a Spanish composer and chapel master, born in Puente la Reina, died in Santiago de Compostela. He worked at the Royal Monastery Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación in Madrid and in 1680 as Kapellmeister at the Kathedrale von Santiago de Compostela, where he died in 1711. He wrote: Masses, Psalmen, Magnificat, Lamentos, Motetten and Villancicos.
