Patrik Vidjeskog

Patrik Vidjeskog (16/10/1964), a Finnish composer, born in Pietarsaar, who studied composition in Helsinki Sibelius Academy by composers Kalevi Aho, Eero Hämeenniemi and Einojuhani Rautavaara. Now Vidjeskog acts as free composer, he elected to director of Finnish Composers 1990.
Requiem
Requiem, for soprano solo, mixed choir, 13 brass players, organ and timpani (2008-09) [ca 50'], for S solo, Mixed Choir, brass, org, perc. Commissioned by Rainer Holmgård and the Psallite choir with support from the Swedish Cultural Foundation. It contains:
