Domenico Desiro (1791? - 04/1886), an Italian composer. From 1820 and for more than sixty years, he had worked as a choirmaster at the Teatro Communale, the most important in Trieste. He had succeeded his father in this work, and was at once organist in several churches, and professor in various institutions. He died in Trieste at the age of 95. In Trieste, at the age of 95, Professor Domenico Desiro, who, since 1820 and for more than sixty years, had been choirmaster at the Municipal Theater, the most important in Trieste. He had succeeded in this post to his father, and was at the same time organist of various churches and professor in several institutions. He wrote a Messa da Requiem in E flat major date unknown.
