Samuel Webbe (sr.) (07/10/1740 - 25/05/1816), an English composer, born in London, father of Samuel Webbe (jr.). He wrote two requiem masses, one in G minor, for three voices and one in E minor, for three voices. Both have been arranged, for four voices, by Vincent Novello (1781-1861) and published in 1864.
