Jean-Claude Bossel (12/07/1957), a Swiss composer (from Vevey). He studied mathematics at Lausanne's university, graduated on musical theory at Lausanne's conservatory, wrote a lot of pieces for the students of the conservatory. He composed Chants de l’au-delà.

In 1998 he writes his Requiem in memoriam Anton Bruckner in collaboration with Olivier Piguet and the vocal Bis ensemble. A symphonic version was realized in 1999. At the same time he edited an educational cd and a book about the great Austrian composer Anton Bruckner at CDA Production. In the spring of 2001, some weeks before the creation of his Songs of the Hereafter, a new work, dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi had its premiere in the Church of St.François in Lausanne.
